Cloud Computing and Cloud-Native Architecture
Main Article Content
Abstract
Cloud computing has revolutionized the way computing resources are delivered and consumed by enabling on-demand access
to scalable and flexible services over the internet. This chapter introduces the fundamental concepts of cloud computing,
including its service and deployment models. It further explores cloud-native architecture, which represents a modern
approach to designing and building applications specifically optimized for cloud environments. The chapter discusses core
cloud-native principles such as microservices, containers, and automation, highlighting their role in improving scalability,
resilience, and agility. Applications, benefits, challenges, and emerging trends in cloud computing and cloud-native systems
are also examined to provide a comprehensive understanding of this transformative technology.
